2026 Activities

This page is a running log of what I’ve been up to in 2026 — talks I’ve given, articles I’ve written, podcasts I’ve joined, communities I’ve contributed to, and other projects along the way. I update it as the year goes on, so think of it as a living timeline rather than a year-end recap. If you’re curious where I’ve been speaking, what I’ve been writing about, or how to connect at an upcoming event, you’ll find it here. Entries are grouped by category and listed newest first, with links to recordings, slides, articles, or event pages wherever they’re available.

Speaking & Conferences

The Faster Path for Requirements, Design, and Prototype with AI · Directions North America 2026

📍 Orlando, FL – 🗓️ April 29, 2026

Co-presented with Steve Endow on how functional consultants and occasional coders can transform customer requirements into working AL prototypes in hours rather than weeks. Using AI-assisted vibe coding, the session walked through practical prompts, sample workflows, and the confidence-building patterns needed to demo a working prototype to a customer the same day requirements are gathered — accelerating the path from concept to demo without advanced programming skills.

So, you think you need a dev? Let’s talk vibe coding · Directions North America 2026

📍 Orlando, FL – 🗓️ April 28, 2026

Co-presented with Steve Endow in a head-to-head session exploring where the line falls between developer and functional consultant work in the age of AI-assisted AL development. A hardcore AL developer and a seasoned functional consultant (“I don’t code”) tackled the same real-world Business Central customer requests twice — once the developer way (events, extensions, codeunits) and once the vibe code way using only tools available to a functional consultant — to show where vibe coding shines, where it falls short, and when you actually still need a dev.
